Reiki Serenity

This Alternative Healing Therapy is done while sitting or lying on a table, fully clothed.  The Reiki practitioner will deliver Reiki through various hand positions on or near your body. 

The Kundalini energy, on its own, is a powerful healing force.   It can purify the body, and also drastically reduce stress.

Kundalini Reiki Chakras "The Energy Centers"

The Chakras are powerful energy centers, within the subtle body, but inside the human body.

In Kundalini Reiki, there are seven Chakras or energy centers inside a person, situated in different points of the body.  Each Chakra works with a group of vital organs, and together, they ensure the wellness of a person.

The Root Chakra

"Muladhara"

The root Chakra is positioned at the base of the spine, acts as a portal for the Kundalini energy.  It is the chakra that keeps a person grounded to his physical existence.

Sacral Chakra

"Svadhisthana"

The Sacral Chakra is positioned on the lower abdomen to the navel.  A well-functioning Sacral Chakra helps one to maintain a healthy yin-yang existence.  This chakra can fuel one's creativity, emotions, and sexuality.

Solar Plexus Chakra

"Manipura"

This intuitive chakra is the seat of power, it directly affects the liver, stomach, gall bladder, small intestines and pancreas.  It is associated with a person's intellectual processes.

Heart Chakra

"Anahata"

This Chakra is positioned right below the Throat Chakra, it increases your natural charisma.  This is the Chakra of the entire circulatory system.  In The Heart Chakra one can have pure joy and enjoy the deepest bliss of oneness along with the emotion of love.

Throat Chakra

"Vishuddha"

The throat chakra controls the thyroid gland, throat, jaw, upper lungs, and vocal chords.  With regular use, this chakra will increase your creative ability.  It also inspires mental creativity.

Third-eye Chakra

"Ajna"

The third-eye chakra is the most powerful center, it corresponds to the brain, nose, face, eyes, and almost all of the organs situated in the head.  It is the center of intuition and awareness.  This Chakra can help develop extra sensory perception.

The Crown Chakra

"Sahasrara"

Located at the top of the head, it relates to your personal and spiritual connection to the universe.

This particular Chakra is said to be the ultimate, the epicenter of the soul and the essence of one's complete being.  It opens the path towards spiritual wisdom.  The Crown Chakra is the silent one which does not interfere with anything.  It will increase your understanding of life's purpose.  It can show the ultimate pleasure. 

All of these Chakras play a vital role in Kundalini Reiki. A deficiency in any of these Chakras could correspond with an illness. 

The Root Chakra, which is the energy center, acts as an entrance for the Kundalini energy, also referred as "Kundalini Fire".   Hereafter, the energy runs all the way up through the body, through the main energy channel, and out of the Crown Chakra.

Although they may seem significant, the invisible benefits of Reiki are in many ways the most insignificant, because they are preventive.

The Whole Body Treatment

Your Reiki Practitioner lays hands on your own body, according to a specific system that includes 17 locations from head to toes.

Every three to five minutes, the positions are changed. This is the major remedy of the Kundalini Reiki practice, and the interaction of the combined forces creates a greater individual treatment. 

If you receive a whole body treatment one to three times a week, you will soon notice a steady increase in vitality, creativity, endurance, inner peace and joy in life!!!

The Head Positions

1.)   This is one of the two major key positions for the whole body treatment.  The hands are placed to the right and left of the nose, from the forehead to the eyes, which reinforce the 6th chakra.  In addition, this creates a balancing effect on the stomach meridian, improving the stress resistance. 

2.)  The hands cover the right and left temper, balancing the brain hemispheres to improve the holistic ap­proach to life. 

3.)  The hands cover the ears, to promote relaxation.

4.)  The hands are placed in the back of the head, to release blocked energies.

5.)  The hands cover the throat, and strengthen the 5th Chakra, along with the glands that are located in the carot­id artery that are responsible for the regulation of the blood pressure.  The better this chakra functions, the more relaxation is possible.

The Trunk Positions

1.) The hands cover the liver.  By stimulating the liver/gallbladder function, Reiki can help improve the digestion, detoxification and removal of waste materials, general resistance to stress, and overall vitality.

2.) The hands cover the stomach area, and Reiki will be sent to the Spleen, located in the left upper quadrant of the abdomen, and the pancreas, located just below the stomach.

3.)  One hand is placed above the navel, and the other hand 2 inches below the navel, on the Hara.  The Hara is our energetic center, the Center of Being, as called by the Chinese.

4.)  One hand is placed directly below the throat on the Thymus gland at the center of the body, and the other vertically on the heart area.  This strengthens the heart center.   The Thymus gland is important for vi­tality, physical and mental freshness

5.)  The hands are placed so that they reach the beginning of the pubic bone, where the Sacral Chakra is located.

The Back Positions

1.)  The hands are placed between  the shoulder blades to the right and left of the spinal column.   This improves the connection of the head and trunk in terms of energy, nervous system and muscles through the back of the body.

2.)  The hands cover entirely the shoulder blades.   This position is also used as a preliminary position before the direct treatment of the large "flow center" the kidneys (see below)

3.)  The hands cover the lower ribs, where the kidneys are located.  They act as blood purifiers and energy suppliers for many areas of the lower back, the arms, and the legs.   The relationship between sexuality and the kid­neys is well known in Chinese culture.  It is said that the kidneys suffer when an imbalance between sexual wishes and their achievement are related.

4.)  One hand rests horizontally on the sacral plate above the buttocks, with the other hand vertically beneath it.  This approach ensures that the energy flow is available to the entire body.  

The Legs Positions

1.)  The hands cover the back of the knees, where the energy usually becomes congested.  It is very important to keep these joints released of congestion.

2.)  The hands are wrapped around the ankles, so the stream of energy can flow freely, and grounding isn't blocked.

3.)  The hands are placed on the soles of the feet, for all of the energy channels to be activated through the reflex zones located in that zone.

Kundalini Reiki works through the entire body.  It intends to clear, open and balance these energy points to achieve health, overall wellness and peace.  

Using this safe Reiki approach, you are building the flow of Ki through the body's energetic pathways, and are strengthening the Hara center.
